Clinical studies have shown that sublingual immunotherapy is safe and effective in children. Although the chance of anaphylaxis is extremely rare (reported anywhere from 1 in 1 million to 1 in 1 billion), all children under the age of 18 are required to complete a monitored first drop appointment with their Curex clinician.
