Patients with year-round or persistent symptoms will notice over time that they feel better in the environments that typically trigger their allergy symptoms. This may mean being on the same medication and having less symptoms, or starting to take less medication as a result.
Patients with more seasonal symptoms may need to wait until the next season to see the improvement. The goal for all patients over time is to have minimal (if not any) symptoms and need as little medication as possible when exposed to their allergens.
